Abstract

Since 2010, when we took over the management of the Gynecological Clinic A (GINEA), we established as a priority, in the context of the participatory strategic planning of the clinical teaching group, that decentralization was a priority. The first thing was to define the vision, mission and institutional objectives for the clinic, based on the work plan we had presented for the tenured lecturer. Once this was resolved at the first national meeting, in July 2010, the one we call “Plan of implementation of associated teaching centers of the interior (CEDAS)” is presented at the second national meeting in October 2010. In this plan, which we subsequently presented to the Faculty Council, we defined that the cornerstone of decentralization would be the development of teaching units associated with GINEA in public and private health institutions throughout the country.
