Alejandro Atchugarry (1952-2017) and the Ethics Committee for Research Projects of the Faculty of Medicine

Abstract

On October 23, 2018, the III National Meeting with the Institutional Research Ethics Committees (CEII) organized by the National Commission of Research Ethics took place in Montevideo. The event was named Dr. Alejandro Atchugarry.

The fact of being out of the country prevented me from fulfilling the commitment assumed to expose there about the arrival of Atchugarry to the Committee of Ethics for Research Projects of the Faculty of Medicine. I think the story is of interest to the readers of the Revista Médica del Uruguay ....
