Uruguayan Medical Magazine Award Roemmers Laboratory 2019

In tribute to Prof. Dr. Jorge Torres Calvete

Abstract

The Editorial Board of the Medical Journal of Uruguay (RMU) has resolved to designate the RMU-Roemmers Prize under the name of Jorge Torres Calvete, which will distinguish the best original article published in 2019 (volume 35) in our media.

It constitutes a fair recognition of who was Professor Emeritus of the Faculty of Medicine, Master of National Medicine and Distinguished Trade Union of the Medical Union of Uruguay (SMU).
