URUGUAY MEDICAL JOURNAL AWARD
ROEMMERS LABORATORY 2001 ACT
Abstract
In Montevideo, on the eleventh day of November two thousand and two, the Tribunal made up of Prof. Dr. Gaspar Catalá on behalf of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Carlos Gómez Ahedo on behalf of the Medical Union, meets of Uruguay and Prof. Dr. Yamandú Sica Blanco on behalf of the Editorial Board of the Medical Journal of Uruguay, in order to issue its decision and award the prizes.
The Tribunal evaluated the papers published in Vol. 17, Nos. 1, 2 and 3, Year 2001, taking into account the provisions of the Bases that state: "The Tribunal will pay special attention to the originality, methodological quality of the design as well as its applicability and importance as an epidemiological and medical contribution, at the national level", resolves unanimously to grant:
