Comments on the article Uruguayan health missions, written by doctors Julio C. Priario and Verónica Nieto

Abstract

Hereby, I send some comments at the Uruguayan health Misiones, written by Dr. Julio C. Priario and Veronica Nieto.
I consider it very interesting and original, because those missions were very effective, demonstrating the high level of Uruguayan trauma in the middle of the last century. They put our country on the map of Latin American trauma.
Few compatriots and doctors know that these Missions existed, so I consider this article very timely.
By publishing it, what is until now oral memory is transformed into written history.
